A few more pics from the end of August!

We loved having Mom-Mom and Aunt Molly visit the last weekend of August.  It was another hot one, but we made it out to the beach on Friday and Saturday.  But first, Mom-Mom and Sarah did some stretching.

And then we had a yummy lunch at the snack bar after a morning at the beach.

Uncle Tim and Aunt Liz came to visit us on one of the hottest weekends of the summer, if memory serves!  We decided to skip the beach on day one and instead did a quick neighborhood tour of Walter’s hot dog stand, Manor Beach, and ice cream in Mamaroneck.  The rest of the time we tried to spend in air conditioned places.  I guess I was so hot I forgot to take pictures, though I did get this cute video of Tim playing catch with Sarah at the playground before dinner.

On Sunday we decided to venture out to the beach and tried to keep cool the old fashioned way, by staying in the water.  We loved having Tim and Liz visit and getting to share our town beach with them.  Here are a few other pics I have:

Sarah continued to practice putting on her own clothes.

We were so sad to say goodbye to our babysitter, Kathryn, on 8/4, so she could go back to school!

We relaxed the under-2-no-tv ban and let Sarah enjoy some of the Olympics.

Sarah and I enjoyed Blaine’s end of camp sing-a-long concert at Camp Murray.  We’ve been singing the song “We Are the Dinosaurs” ever since.
